About the Artist

Marissa Rappaport is a multimedia narrative artist. She draws inspiration from nature, fantasy, mythology, and her own lived experiences. Her work ranges from edible sculptures and multimedia prints to detailed illustrations and zines. Their main focus is to craft lighthearted fantasy narratives to remind people of all the good to be found in the world. She also makes works centered around her personal experiences with disability and traumatic brain injuries. While their creations shift between many different realms, they stay consistent in their desire to connect with others through their work.
